It is common knowledge within the realm that all elvenkind appear
vivid in the eyes of most other races. It is said that they live so
thoroughly in the present that they appear otherworldly within their
own surroundings; as if the world around them were somehow less real
than the elves themselves. The elves in fact, in particular the
Magudien, have learned to draw upon their own hearty presence in time
through the aid of the skill of 'Nuquerna' which means quite simply
'Reverse'. Reaching back into the past to aid the present, they quench
their own spirits with the fine lives they have lived years ago.
