Creating a golem

When reanimating a golem if you see the message:

You feel like you lost a lot of energy via the reanimation.
you used a larger corpse than neccessary, the good news is that this means your new golem is maxed.

Working with undead

Other than your servant, the only way to determine how damaged your tank is, is to scan. It is advisable to set up a trigger to scan each round so you arn't cought un aware.

Soul Merge and Fusion

For the record, 25% soul fusion, 4 6kg corpses (24kg total) = 10kg corpse

Frank

Creating a frank is a long and difficult process, compounded by the fact that it must be done within one boot. The full details are on the Frankenstein page.

Spirit

Spirits (like servants) differ from other undeads greatly. They follow you around like a shadow, they can't be killed or commanded to stop following. They don't do melee damage. So what good are they? They blast. Hard. Downside is that you have to donate some of your sps to the spirit in order to use it, and some of the transfered sps might be lost. Skill 'spiritism' not only affects the amount of sps spirit actually receives, but increases the damage of the blast as well. Obviously this skill is good to have on decent percent. Another spirit related skill is 'spiritual link', which makes the blast come off more quickly. This one is important skill too, but if you have limited amount of exp, I'd say focus on 'spiritism' first. When you blast with spirit you get in combat with enemy as well - thus preventing your regeneration - so plan the blasting to make rate. There are two different blast messages. After some testing I think one makes pure magical damage, another pure cold. The damage type seems to be randomly selected between these two. Look at spirit for list of available commands.

Creating a spirit:

First do corpses and have them fusioned and enchanted. Then cast 'call spirit' at corpse. Done. The size of the corpse needed is always an arguable question, and depends greatly on the percent of 'call spirit'. I've usually used about 200kg corpse and 100% call and come up with a fine spirit. There is also a spell called 'enlarge spirit', that you can use later on to make spirit bigger if you think the initial corpse was too small after all. Spirit vanishes on armageddon, so it needs to be recreated every boot. If you got skills like 20%, don't bother with spirit unless you are very bored.
